Epoxy

W052214 is a highly filled, moderately thixotropic black casting resin designed for applications requiring good thermal conductivity, low shrinkage and a low CTE. It was especially formulated to a 2:1 mix ratio. Cure is normally achieved at room temperature although an elevated cure schedule can be used to reach final properties quickly.

These materials are designed for thermal protection of electronic devices, along with temperature stabilization of thermosensitive processors and surfaces.

Outlast® LHS materials can be supplied in a number of different forms such as film, sheet, gels or wet phase coating formulation. Materials can be supplied as cast films on a variety of substrates such as heat spreaders and release films, or as various laminated structures. These films can be die cut per the final manufacturing part design.
